13 Steps to No-Where!

13 Steps to No-Where13 Steps to no-where have sent us some of their songs and we thought they were so good we have put TWO in the third "voices from the future" podcast.

A five piece Nu metal band from regional Victoria who just loves to have a good time!

The band formed about two years ago through an exchanging riffs program running through school and have been rocking, playing many live gigs and entering any battle of the bands that come their way ever since. A 3rd and 2nd place so far!

Members include Jess on vocals, Nash on drums, Austin on Bass/Vocals, Rhys on guitar and Mark, the newest inclusion, on guitar.

The band has a unique sound with strong heavy music and elusive female vocals. Just after a year of being together the band recorded their first ever demo and later on shot theie first ever clip. 13 steps have grown over such short time and will continue to grow, with a heavy rich sound and entertaining live act 13 steps to nowhere are sure to blow your mind.

The Youth Forum, On September 7th 2005 at the Seymour Campus of the Goulburn Ovens TAFE was a great success, with just on 100 young people attending and really getting involved on the day.

To read the full story and see more pictures of the day, please follow this link.

Glen MantonGlenn Manton, ex Carlton Footballer and Co-founder of Whitelion, was the facilitator for the day, allowing local young people to speak out about the issues that affect them.

Whitelion supports young people to build better lives for themselves and helps make our community a more inclusive and safer place.

Just on 100 young people attended the day from schools and communities from around and adjacent to the Mitchell Shire. Almost 30 youth work students from Victoria University were also in attendance to assist with the day, as well as a number of teachers and community agency staff from across the district, making almost 150 involved.

We are encouraging you to record your thoughts and let us PODCAST them right here! Watch this space!

We also hope to be PODCASTING the music of LOCAL bands.
