The Victorian youthcentral Roving Reporter Program is recruiting again!
This time round youthcentral is looking for twenty Victorians, aged 16-24 to join our Roving Reporter team. They will produce articles and reviews covering launches, career expos, festivals, events and news relevant to young people and their local communities.
All reporters will need to be able to commit to completing one of the 2-day workshops to be held on Saturday August 23rd and Sunday August 24th, or Wednesday September 24th and Thursday September 25th. Participants will be trained in web journalism and digital photography to assist them in contributing content to the site through-out their tenure, and provided with on-going support through the program.
Note: All travel and accommodation costs incurred in order to attend training will be covered by the Office for Youth.
Youth Central says: We’re not looking for Victoria’s best writers-just young people keen to be involved in a youth-friendly web project.
