What's happening in my area?
- The Spatial Data Network is an innovative way for the Department to share data on telecommunications projects and services - particularly those benefitting regional, rural and remote Australia. A simple set of tools allows you to pan and zoom to look at maps of aspects of Australia's telecommunications services and infrastructure. New and additional maps will be progressively added to this site.
- HiBIS offers an opportunity for people in regional Australia to access broadband services at prices comparable to those available in the cities
- You can check your town name here to see if you're in an area that qualifies for HiBIS services.
