Victorian Broadband Access OfficeThe Broadband Access Office is Victoria's one-stop on-line shop for information on broadband.

Although the Aggregation inititaive is funded by the Commonwealth Government, there are considerable resources and opportunities made available through State Government initiatives.

According to a Victorian Government Press release:

"The Bracks Government has created the Broadband Access Office to ensure Victorians are well informed about broadband and the options available on the market.

"The Broadband Access Office is a vital information resource for communities, local councils and others wanting to get broadband services into their area. It is the A-Z of information on broadband issues - a comprehensive independent resource helping you choose the right broadband service for your needs.

"The site allows you to check broadband availability and demand region by region, and gives guidance on what to do if you can't get broadband yet. It also provides information on how developers can help get broadband in new buildings.

"For businesses it gives information on helping you choose the right broadband service to suit your needs as well as a series of case studies that illustrate how communities can go about getting broadband in their area.
